An exhibition was launched in the northern province of Ha Giang on Sunday to showcase 46 photos featuring the people and landscape of its famous Hoang Su Phi District.

The photos were taken by two amateur photographers Viet Bac, 34, and Le Tho, 40. They have spent years exploring the northernmost province, especially the district and its rice terraces.

"The beauty of Hoang Su Phi's people and land," as the event is officially known, is taking place at the venue of Hoang Su Phi's Sunday market in the capital town of Vinh Quang.

Interested visitors can buy the photos at VND1 million each, and all the proceeds will be donated to charities, according to the district's website.
